An entrepreneur with an athlete's soul

Hubert Rzekieć introduces himself as a young entrepreneur working on online projects. He runs an education company focused on psychology and investing, creates a lot of content for the internet and leads mindset workshops. Beyond that: the gym, combat sports and running. He has a twin brother, Albert, with whom he runs many projects together.

The only time he takes off his tensor bracelet is when he puts on boxing gloves. He ran the entire New York City Marathon wearing it, in three and a half hours.

A quiet radar: Hubert's soul profile

The host, Mateusz Wójcik, co-founder of VEL LEES, knows Hubert from a single conversation about working together. He prepared the profile using only Hubert's first name, surname and date of birth, without looking anything up online. Hubert has Life Number 11, Soul Number 9 and Expression Number 7. Eleven is a master number which reduces to two and can vibrate as a two as well.

Your soul works like a quiet radar. Before you say anything, you already sense what in a person is genuine and what is just for show.
Mateusz Wójcik, reading the profile · 2:59

Hubert confirms it. For him, everything has to make sense, and if he cannot see the sense in something, he does not get involved at all, whether it is a relationship or a business. That is how he saves his energy.

Mateusz says that for him it used to be the other way round. As a pioneer, he loved starting things and took on dozens of topics at once. It was numerology that helped him put a name to it. He gives an example from his inbox: when he answered 50 emails straight away, the next morning there were 50 new ones. Now he replies within two days and has time left to breathe.

Shadows and lights

The profile describes Hubert's shadows like this: he thinks more deeply than he acts, analyses a topic to the point of standstill, and in difficult moments shuts down emotionally, because keeping his distance feels easier than risking disappointment. He judges his mistakes harshly, as if they said something about his worth.

Hubert admits that this is true. He often thinks about how he might let someone down. Mateusz points out that the same trait can also be a driving force: those who judge themselves harshly want to do things better.

The profile names insight and a feel for people's intentions as his greatest light. Deep down, Hubert carries a strong sense of purpose: he wants what he does to have value and leave a good mark, even if he does it quietly. He says himself that his intuition about people serves him very well, especially when he chooses who to work with.

Mateusz also shares his own experience. Since he slowed down and began to live more mindfully, he has become better at sensing people and their intentions. He describes how one day, coming back to the house he has lived in for ten years, he stopped simply to listen to what was going on around him. He heard birds in the garden and realised they had always been there. Before, busy with dozens of things, he had never noticed them.

The seven-year cycle between 28 and 35

According to the profile, the most important seven-year period of Hubert's adult life falls between the ages of 28 and 35 and includes what is known as the Saturn return. Mateusz describes it as the moment when a person stops living a trial version of their life. The profile divides it into three phases:

Build-up, 2024–2025
A growing sense that something no longer fits. Weariness with half-measures and a need for a clear direction.
Core, July 2025 – July 2026
The most intense year. Concrete decisions about work, relationships, finances and priorities.
Closure, 2026–2027
Stabilising after the decisions, building a new structure and closing the old chapter.

Hubert, who is 29, recognises his last two years in this. It was a time of the greatest momentum and, at the same time, of parting ways with his business partners. After that he began working with the people he trusts most and put some of his businesses up for sale.

Two elevens: Hubert and Albert

The twins share a date of birth, so both are elevens. The rest is different: Hubert has Soul 9 and Expression 7, Albert the other way round. The profile predicts that Albert is the one who reaches out to people and pushes projects forward, while Hubert looks after quality and meaning.

That part is right. Hubert confirms that Albert is the vision and the public face, while he is the analysis and the firmness. The second part is not: according to the profile, Hubert is the one who withdraws under stress and Albert the one who pushes. Hubert says it is exactly the opposite, and adds that he is the elder by ten minutes. Mateusz admits that he did not look at the time of birth, which could change the reading.

This is the first podcast I've been on where I sit and listen to people talk about me.
Hubert Rzekieć · 21:38

At the end of this part, Mateusz admits he was nervous. If Hubert had said that none of it fit, it would have been hard to publish the episode.

What losses teach you

This is not investment advice. The speakers talk about their own decisions and losses on the cryptocurrency market. Investing, especially with leverage, carries the risk of losing your entire capital. Consult a licensed adviser before making financial decisions.

Hubert has been in the industry for almost six years and says openly that they have not been easy years. He entered the crypto market with several hundred thousand in capital. On the wave of growth, his portfolio grew by several hundred thousand in a short time, and one of the projects he bought at twenty-something dollars reached over 700. Then came two mistakes: some of the profits were never taken, because he was hoping for more, and some of the money went back into smaller projects right at the peak. Two of them dropped to zero.

As of today he is still in the red. From this story he draws one conclusion, which he repeats several times:

In investing, being emotionally consumed is a crime.
Hubert Rzekieć · 1:02:47

He fell into it when he pushed every other topic aside and bet everything on crypto. Now he runs several projects at once and says that, as a result, none of them consumes him like that, and he concentrates better on each one. He describes the market as difficult and risky, a place where the outcome is largely decided by your mindset.

Mateusz adds an anecdote of his own. Over a decade ago he bought 12 bitcoins at around 300 dollars each, and then sold them because his wife had fallen for a car that cost PLN 50,000.

Freedom instead of a Lamborghini

A few years ago Hubert wanted to buy a Lamborghini and had the money for it. He decided against it. He says that the older he gets, the less he cares about things and the more about time, health and being able to take the people close to him travelling.

I'll buy myself freedom, I'll buy myself time. For me, that's the measure of luxury: that I'm healthy and can go somewhere.
Hubert Rzekieć · 45:15

He describes buying an expensive car as a short hit of dopamine: planning, purchase, a moment of joy and that's it. He gets more out of a spontaneous trip with his brother or flying to New York unannounced for a friend's fight. He works one hundred percent remotely and has a simple picture of future happiness: less time on his phone, more calm, a family, a dog and a house in the mountains.

Mateusz says that for him, home already is that place. He has four children, three dogs and two cats, so the home and its surroundings are where he has invested the most.

Stimuli, addictions and a carrier of intention

Hubert admits he can spend 13–14 hours a day on his phone, because that is his job. Mateusz worries about his children, who are growing up with a phone from the very start. He says that he and Krystian want to fight social media addiction using social media itself, by recording reels meant to work like a positive virus.

One of those reels is to be about quitting addictions with the help of a bracelet. Mateusz puts it carefully.

If you have an object that you give an intention to, then when you look at it, you remind yourself: I'm not supposed to smoke. And when you're not looking at it, you still subconsciously remember that you have it.
Mateusz Wójcik · 53:36

He adds that he does not know whether it is only the intention at work here or something more. He does, however, have many examples of people who found it easier to stick to their resolution with the bracelet on their wrist.

Hubert's mindset workshops, which he has run for entrepreneurs in Warsaw's Ursynów district and in the UK, among others, are not about motivation. They are about clearing blocks and setting a measurable goal. Asked what he would advise a boss whose team does not respect him, he replies that a lot starts on the inside:

Lots of people want respect but have no respect for themselves. And people pick up on that very quickly.
Hubert Rzekieć · 57:45

Today's Hubert

The conversation closes with a line that Hubert's friend Wojtek had sent him the day before.

Yesterday's Hubert is already dead. Tomorrow's Hubert hasn't been born. Today's Hubert is alive and has to be happy.
Hubert Rzekieć · 1:11:56

Mateusz says this is exactly what he is working on now: to stop putting life off until later and to be here and now.
