A Royal Cubit in 925 sterling silver, platinum-plated. The frame holds a composition of hand-cut minerals with Baltic amber, bound with epoxy resin and visible from both sides. The warm honey of the amber on cool, silver metal is the strongest contrast in the whole collection.

Platinum keeps a cool, silver tone and does not tarnish the way silver alone does. It is a coating, though, so with everyday wear it can gradually rub through on the edges. Underneath, solid 925 sterling silver remains.

Amber is the hardened resin of coniferous trees, which lay in the earth and in the sea for tens of millions of years. It is so light that it floats in salt water, and warm to the touch, unlike stone.

⚠️ How to care for it

Amber is the softest material in the whole ROYAL TERRA collection: 2–2.5 on the Mohs scale, which is less than a fingernail. It is easy to scratch and easy to damage chemically.

• take the amulet off before sleeping, bathing and sport
• keep it away from perfume, deodorant, alcohol, acetone and nail polish remover – solvents dull the surface irreversibly
• do not put it in an ultrasonic cleaner or in hot water
• store it separately, not together with harder stones
• clean it with a dry, soft cloth

Baltic amber is sometimes called the Stone of the Sun or the Gold of the Baltic. In the tradition of working with stones it is linked with the element of fire and the energy of the Sun, and the fact that it is a resin and not a mineral is explained as the source of its warm, living nature.

✨ The Royal Cubit and the ROYAL TERRA collection

The Royal Cubit is tensor geometry tuned to 144 MHz. The ring closes into a form which, in the tensor tradition, is said to create its own field and to hold the owner's intention. The bail does not touch the ring, so as not to close it.

The emblem of the ROYAL TERRA collection is the octagon, the figure eight, a figure of balance and flow. The platinum-plated version keeps a cool, silver color and does not need cleaning as often as uncoated silver.
