Tensor earrings with rhodonite – 925 sterling silver, platinum-plated
Lost Cubit in 925 sterling silver, platinum-plated: tensor ring, butterfly back and plate with ear post. In the centre a hand-cut rhodonite from the Urals, a pink cut through with black veins of manganese.
Platinum holds a cool, silver tone and does not darken the way plain silver does. It is a plating, though, so with everyday wear it can rub through at the edges over time. Underneath there remains solid 925 sterling silver.

The name comes from the Greek rhodon, that is, rose. The colour is due to manganese, and the black veins are its oxidised forms. Rhodonite from the Urals was a tsarist stone: the sarcophagus of Maria Alexandrovna was cut from a single block weighing more than a dozen tonnes.

The Lost Cubit is a tensor geometry tuned to 177 MHz. The ring closes in a form which, in the tensor tradition, is said to create its own field and to hold the owner's intention.
The sign of the ROYAL TERRA collection is the octagon, the figure eight, a shape of balance and flow. The platinum-plated version holds a cool, silver colour and does not need cleaning as often as unprotected silver.
