🌈 Tensor earrings with fluorite – 925 sterling silver, platinum-plated
Lost Cubit in 925 sterling silver, platinum-plated: tensor ring, butterfly back and plate with ear post. In the center a hand-cut fluorite from India, the stone of the rainbow, in which greens pass into blue and violet within a single crystal.
Platinum keeps a cool, silver tone and does not tarnish the way silver alone does. It is a coating, though, so with everyday wear it can gradually rub through on the edges. Underneath, solid 925 sterling silver remains.

Fluorite is the reference point for hardness 4 on the Mohs scale, and it gave its name to the phenomenon of fluorescence: the first specimens seen to glow under ultraviolet light came from this very mineral. It is soft, so set in an earring it likes gentle handling. Take it off before cleaning the house and before bathing.

The Lost Cubit is a tensor geometry tuned to 177 MHz. The ring closes in a form which, in the tensor tradition, is said to create its own field and to hold the owner's intention.
The emblem of the ROYAL TERRA collection is the octagon, the figure eight, a figure of balance and flow. The platinum-plated version keeps a cool, silver color and does not need cleaning as often as uncoated silver.
