Lost Cubit in 925 sterling silver, platinum-plated: tensor ring, butterfly back and plate with ear post. In the center a hand-cut amethyst from Zambia.
Platinum keeps a cool, silver tone and does not tarnish the way silver alone does. It is a coating, though, so with everyday wear it can gradually rub through on the edges. Underneath, solid 925 sterling silver remains.

Zambia yields the darkest amethysts on the market, from lavender to an almost inky purple. The color comes from trace amounts of iron in the quartz crystal and from natural radiation in the deposit. The Greek name amethystos means “not drunk”, and that is how the stone was worn: as protection against losing your head.

The Lost Cubit is a tensor geometry tuned to 177 MHz. The ring closes in a form which, in the tensor tradition, is said to create its own field and to hold the owner's intention.
The emblem of the ROYAL TERRA collection is the octagon, the figure eight, a figure of balance and flow. The platinum-plated version keeps a cool, silver color and does not need cleaning as often as uncoated silver.
