Tensor earrings with Rhodonite – gold-plated 925 sterling silver
A Lost Cubit in 925 sterling silver, covered with 18-carat gold: tensor ring, ear hook and post plate. In the centre, a hand-cut rhodonite from the Urals, pink cut through with black veins of manganese.
Under the gold plating there is solid 925 sterling silver. The plating itself is a layer, so with daily wear it can rub through on the edges over time, and then the silver underneath shows. The silver stays.

The name comes from the Greek rhodon, meaning rose. The colour comes from manganese, and the black veins are its oxidised forms. Rhodonite from the Urals was a tsar's stone: the sarcophagus of Maria Alexandrovna was carved from a single block weighing more than ten tonnes.

The Lost Cubit is a tensor geometry tuned to 177 MHz. The ring closes into a form which, in the tensor tradition, is meant to create its own field and hold the owner's intention.
The sign of the ROYAL TERRA collection is the octagon, the figure eight, a figure of balance and flow. Gold-plated silver gives the same gold colour as 585 gold, at a price closer to brass.
