🌈 Tensor earrings with Fluorite – gold-plated 925 sterling silver
A Lost Cubit in 925 sterling silver, plated with 18-karat gold: tensor ring, butterfly back and post plate. In the center, a hand-cut fluorite from India, the rainbow stone, in which greens pass into blue and violet within a single crystal.
Under the gold plating there is solid 925 sterling silver. The plating itself is a layer, so with daily wear it can rub through at the edges over time and then the silver underneath shows. The silver stays.

Fluorite is the reference point for hardness 4 on the Mohs scale, and it gave its name to the phenomenon of fluorescence: the first specimens seen to glow under ultraviolet light came from this very mineral. It is soft, so set in an earring it likes gentle handling. Take it off before cleaning the house and before bathing.

The Lost Cubit is a tensor geometry tuned to 177 MHz. The ring closes in a form which, in the tensor tradition, is said to create its own field and to hold the owner's intention.
The sign of the ROYAL TERRA collection is the octagon, the figure eight, a shape of balance and flow. Gold-plated silver gives the same gold tone as 585 gold, at a price closer to brass.
