Numerology 8 – Master of Energy
Who is the Master of Energy Soul (8)?
Numerology 8 is the energy of power, influence, agency and matter.
In the 12 Soul Types system of the Map of Soul project, we call it the MASTER OF ENERGY – the soul that came here to learn to use strength consciously: money, power, authority, the energy of action.
It is the soul of people who:
- naturally think in terms of results, influence and impact,
- have a strong sense of responsibility for whatever they take on,
- often become leaders – formal or informal,
- feel they are here to “do something concrete” – to leave a visible mark behind them.
Talents of the Master of Energy Soul
The Master of Energy brings strength focused on results into the world:
- Strong will and determination – when they commit, they mean it.
- A gift for managing resources – people, money, projects, time.
- Natural authority – others instinctively take their opinion seriously.
- Resilience – able to get back up after failure, draw conclusions and move on.
- Strategic thinking – sees the bigger picture, the plan, the consequences.
When Soul 8 is in balance, it becomes a steady pillar of organizations, companies, projects and families. It is an energy that can “carry the weight” others would be afraid of.
Shadows of the Master of Energy Soul
The shadow appears when the strength of the 8 is not met by heart, humility and mindfulness.
The most common challenges of Soul 8:
- Control and dominance – a tendency to impose their will on others.
- Results-driven perfectionism – “only results count, everything else is secondary”.
- Overwork – equating self-worth with achievement.
- Lack of trust – “if I don't keep an eye on it myself, everything will fall apart”.
- Hardness in relationships – difficulty admitting weakness or asking for help.
When overloaded, the Master of Energy may feel like someone who constantly has to keep the world in check – admired on the one hand, yet lonely and tired inside.
Tendencies and lesson of the Master of Energy
The Master of Energy has a natural tendency to:
- take on too much responsibility,
- put the result above the process,
- measure themselves and others by their “achievements”.
The main lesson of Soul 8 is:
“True power is not about control – it is about responsible influence, guided by the heart.”
To live out this lesson, the Master of Energy needs purified strength, healthy boundaries, an open heart and intuitive guidance. This is exactly where the TERRA 44 stones begin their work.
The Master of Energy in the TERRA 44 system – four dimensions of power
TERRA 44 – Gifts of Earth and Light is a collection in which stones become the language of the Earth, speaking to your Soul.
Each stone is 44 mm long – the number of masterful balance between the world of spirit and the world of form.
In this system, every Soul works across four dimensions of energy:
- Source of Power – fire, action, decisiveness.
- Protection and Grounding – boundaries, stability, safety.
- Heart and Emotions – feelings, tenderness, relationships.
- Intuition and Light – insight, guidance, a wider perspective.
For the MASTER OF ENERGY (8), we have chosen four TERRA 44 stones that together form their personal circle of support:
- Tiger's Eye – Source of Power
- Onyx – Protection and Grounding
- Rhodonite – Heart and Emotions
- Labradorite – Intuition and Light
Each of them touches a different layer of working with the 8 energy.
1. Tiger's Eye – the Master of Energy's Source of Power
Role in TERRA 44: Source of Power
Energy archetype: focused strength, courage, alertness.
In the TERRA 44 system, Tiger's Eye teaches the Master of Energy to master their own strength.
It is a stone that helps turn raw power into conscious, focused energy for action.
How does it support the Master of Energy Soul?
- Helps you see the consequences of decisions – before you use your power, not only afterwards.
- Strengthens courage while removing blind spots – supports a clear-eyed view of risks and people.
- Steadies the urge to “push harder” – encourages a wise pacing of effort.
- Supports trust in your own agency – but not at the expense of others.

Symbolic work with labradorite for the Master of Energy
You can think of Labradorite as a luminous map for your power:
“My strength makes sense when it is guided by intuition and values, not just by a goal.”
Worn in TERRA 44 – the stone by the heart, the tensor ring at the chakra of truth – it supports the moments when you need to choose a direction: investments, partnerships, career and life decisions.
How to work with TERRA 44 stones as a Master of Energy
At the heart of VEL LEES lies a conscious connection between object, intention, action and effect.
A stone isn't meant to “handle things for you”, but it can become a concrete, physical carrier of your decision – about how you want to use your power.
A simple ritual for Soul 8:
-
Object – choose a TERRA 44 stone based on what you need right now:
- Tiger's Eye – when you are taking on a big project, a challenge or a leadership role,
- Onyx – when you feel overloaded, swamped by duties, without boundaries,
- Rhodonite – when your relationships start to suffer because of pace, work or ambition,
- Labradorite – when you face important decisions, a change of direction or a choice of path.
-
Intention – before putting on your necklace, say one sentence, for example:
- “I use my power responsibly and with respect for others.”
- “My boundaries are a wise protection of my energy.”
- “My strength goes hand in hand with my heart.”
- “I listen to my intuition before I make a decision.”
-
Action – during the day:
- touch the stone when you once again want to “take everything on yourself”,
- pause when the tone of a conversation turns hard and your body tenses up,
- return to your intention before making key decisions.
-
Noticing the effects – pay attention to small shifts:
- you delegate more often instead of doing everything yourself,
- your relationships rely less on control and more on partnership,
- in the long run, your decisions bring more peace – not just “instant” success.
The Master of Energy – when power becomes service, not a burden
The Master of Energy Soul came here to work with strength in its most tangible dimension – with influence, responsibility and matter.
Its challenge is not to let power turn into armor, or success into a prison.
The four TERRA 44 stones for Soul 8:
- Tiger's Eye – teaches mastery over your own strength.
- Onyx – protects against overload and helps you set boundaries.
- Rhodonite – opens the heart, softens hardness and heals relationships.
- Labradorite – guides you towards decisions in line with your deeper calling, not just ambition.
Together they create a space in which the Master of Energy can say:
“My power is a tool, not a goal.
I use it to build, not to hurt – and so as not to lose my own heart along the way.”
TERRA 44 then becomes jewelry that remembers your Soul – and subtly reminds you every day that true power begins with mastering yourself, not the world.
